AVAILABLE FOR HALF LEASE - 2001- APHA Dun Overo, 15 +/- Hands. She is currently in Western Pleasure training and is a very friendly, quiet mare. She is in the APHA Breeders Trust. This mare is not only good looking but she has a fantastic pedigree to back her. Her sire (sorrel overo) Skip N Zip, ROM Western Pleasure. Her grandsire Skipa Star JR., National Champion, Superior Halter, 43 Grand Champions, 15 Reserves in Halter and 59 Performance points with ROM's in WP. Skipper's granddam is APHA Halter Champion with Performance ROM's. Skipper's Sire also has on his immediate papers - Skipa Star, World Champion, Skippers Lad, World Champion sire, and Bar Mount, Supreme Champion, not to mention the AQHA Hall Of Fame Horse Zippo Pine Bar. All this and Skipper's Dam (grulla overo) is Sonny Dee Bar bred and has on her immediate papers, Flying Fawango, APHA Champion and Sonny Dee Jack, APHA Champion. She has all the dun factor and one brown eye and one partial blue eye - a rare color in the horse world. She has never been bred or exposed to a stallion. Sound and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Has been ridden on local trails. Currently we are only trail riding and working on the walk, jog and lope. As she masters each, we will move on to more gates. She does side pass and back wonderfully.
